This event took place on Wednesday, May 18, 2016
11:00 am — 12:00 pm EST (Initial Remarks: 45 minutes, Q&A: 15 minutes)
Please join us as Doug Berenson, Avascent’s in-house budget expert and Director of its Analytics division, provides an analysis of the O&M budget to shed light on key drivers of O&M spending, which accounts for roughly 40% of the DoD topline budget. The O&M account is central to U.S. forces’ operational readiness, and to defense markets like equipment sustainment, IT services, and others. Mr. Berenson will outline the findings of a new analysis of the costs and drivers that shape the O&M budget, and shed light on contractor-addressable areas.
Mr. Berenson will answer questions from the attendees on what specific categories of goods and services are acquired with O&M funds, and how these demands differ among various DoD communities.
