By August Cole, with Michael Barber, Jessica DiPaolo, Allison Gibbs, and Chris Yee-Paulson
Avascent Analytics’ latest report, THE SCORECARD: Allied Preparedness in an “America First” World, analyzes capability gaps of allied nations in Europe and the Asia-Pacific should the US require allies to bear a larger share of the burden for their security, as suggested by President Trump’s “America First” policy. In this podcast, analysts who compiled the scores for France, Germany, Poland and the UK discuss which nations are most dependent on America’s security architecture and what they must do should those historical relationships change.
