Royce manages Avascent’s space practice. He provides strategic advisory services and market analyses to aerospace companies and government clients, covering all aspects of military, civilian, and commercial space activities within the United States and abroad. With more than 18 years of experience in the aerospace field, Royce has advised almost every U.S. aerospace company, large and small – as well as multiple international firms – on tactical and strategic issues relating to their business.
Royce has led numerous efforts to develop corporate business plans and market entry strategies for space and non-space clients. Royce’s analyses have covered areas such as launch systems, satellite remote sensing systems, communications systems, space services, space science, human spaceflight, and global positioning technologies.
Before joining Avascent in 2001, Royce spent two years leading sales and marketing efforts at BeGlobal Inc. He spent four years as a senior associate at CSP Associates, where he managed dozens of analytical efforts for a variety of aerospace and defense clients. Royce also established and later managed ANSER’s Russian office in Moscow on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense and NASA.
Royce earned an M.A. in space policy at George Washington University’s Elliott School for International Affairs, an associate’s degree in space studies from the International Space Universityin Strasbourg, France, and a B.A. in Russian studies from Trinity College.
