STEPHEN GANOTE
Principal
Mr. Ganote focuses on serving Avascent’s clients in the space, communications and select defense technology markets. He leads a range of engagements, bringing insight to clients informed by extensive consulting and management experience across the aerospace and communications industries. Prior to joining Avascent, Mr. Ganote was in Booz & Company’s Aerospace & Defense practice (formerly part of Booz Allen Hamilton), where he advised leading private sector and government clients on strategy, market analysis, due diligence, organizational structure and innovation. He previously held business development and corporate strategy positions at Intelsat, the world’s largest provider of satellite communications services, at Washington Advisors, 360networks, and COMSAT Corporation. Mr. Ganote also served as a legislative assistant in the US Senate focused on trade, finance and business policy issues.
Mr. Ganote holds degrees from Duke and Georgetown, serves as a member of the Board of the Washington Space Business Roundtable and was a co-founder and Executive Board Member of the Satellite Industry Association.
