Tim Wickham specializes in providing domestic and international defense and security firms with the full range of management and strategy consulting support. As a member of the Avascent team for almost eight years, Tim has significant experience providing his clients advice on complex business issues ranging from market positioning to mergers and acquisition strategies.
Specializing in supporting firms active in the defense, federal,and commercial electronics markets, Tim has conducted a wide range of market, company, and competitive diligences in support of various strategic investment strategies. His understanding of the business dynamics and competitive strategies of both leading providers and new market entrants has proven critical in helping his clients make informed and strategic investment and management decisions.
Prior to joining The Avascent Group, Tim served as an imagery analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and as a tactical communications officer (Signal Corps) in the United States Army Reserves. Tim holds degrees from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and the University of Notre Dame.
