Mr. Pavluk advises clients on developing and achieving their strategic growth objectives across the global aerospace & defense, homeland security, and public safety sectors. His domain specialties are advanced technologies, electronics (including radar systems, tactical communications, and electronic warfare), and commercial / military autonomous systems. Since 2005, Mr. Pavluk has served industry, investors, and non-profit clients on a variety of assignments focusing on growth strategy, capture support, strategic partnerships, M&A, change management, and portfolio alignment. With his counsel, executives have successfully launched new products, expanded market share, closed acquisitions, and aligned organizational structures to growth strategies.
Prior to joining Avascent, Mr. Pavluk served as an international aerospace and defense industry analyst at Jane’s Strategic Advisory Services in Washington. He has published widely on technology and innovation in external outlets including VentureBeat, TechCrunch, War on the Rocks, National Defense, Armada International, and the Asian Military Review. In addition, Mr. Pavluk has co-authored several white papers including Think Bigger: Large Unmanned Systems and the Next Major Shift in Aviation (with the Aerospace Industries Association) and Redefining Asymmetric Warfare: Unmanned Swarm and the Third Offset. He has also served as a member of the mentoring team for the national security innovation course Hacking for Defense at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
With a focus on international politics, Mr. Pavluk received his BSFS cum laude from Georgetown University and MSc with merit from the University of London. He is a member of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International and the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum.
