Campus Recruiting

The Avascent Group actively participates in campus recruiting at leading institutions for entry- and mid-level hires.

Our campus recruiting efforts are focused on helping potential candidates understand the rewarding opportunities available at the firm and identifying individuals who possess the intellectual capacity and professional ambition to succeed in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Analysts

Analysts comprise the core of our entry-level hires and provide the critical research and analysis that drive our conclusions and recommendations for clients.  

Analysts at Avascent:
  • are active, integral members of our project teams
  • provide thoughtful, informed insights and information critical to client engagements
  • interact with more senior staff across the firm
  • take part in client meetings and presentations

Candidates join the firm directly after graduation, although some may bring 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience and degrees in fields such as economics, international affairs, or business.

Engagement Managers

Those joining the firm from leading MBA or joint degree graduate programs and possessing significant, relevant work experience typically join the firm as Engagement Managers.

Avascent's Engagement Managers:
  • provide critical project and analytical leadership skills
  • oversee the execution of analyses of complex, multi-dimensional business problems under the guidance of Partner-level staff
  • lead project teams of junior staff
  • engage directly with client and staff
  • begin to play key roles in managing and leading the firm

Graduate-level hires join the firm with 3 to 5 years of experience in a business and/or management consulting environment.
