THE EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE

“Intellectual rigor brought me to The Avascent Group.”
Laura, Consultant

My career to date had been in the NGO sector, but after completing graduate school, I realized that I wanted to move into something more dynamic.

I sought a company where I could grow professionally, and this is a place where I can strive for great output, knowing there's a supportive team working towards the same goals.

Avascent's commitment to analysis brought me here, but it's the collegial atmosphere that makes being here enjoyable.

Avascent was the right fit because here I can gain management experience, enjoy broader opportunities for client interaction, and leverage my existing skills and contacts to support new initiatives.

“I found Avascent's mission and professional environment to be a unique blend of business, policy, and analysis.”
Alek, Consultant

Having arrived here armed with experience in academia and both the public and private sectors, I realized immediately how much the firm valued each distinct skill set.
At Avascent, thorough research followed by rigorous analysis is coupled with a keen understanding of the policy environment and our clients' business needs.

From my first days at work, I've been able to tap into a variety of professional experiences, and have begun to leverage Avascent's tremendous knowledge base. This is made possible by the collaborative spirit and camaraderie that pervades the hallways, making this firm an excellent opportunity for the career professional.

“I chose Avascent because of the firm's openness to giving staff at all levels the opportunity to directly and meaningfully engage on complex, interesting assignments.”
Rachel, Analyst

As an international relations major with previous experience in the public sector, I chose Avascent because I sought a post-graduate job that would help me understand the private sector.

Avascent was a clear match for me. I have enjoyed experiences with my co-workers through the training program and senior advising, as well as out-of-office sailing trips, weekly soccer scrimmages, and after-work social events.

“I can unequivocally state that the Avascent internship prepares you for the demands of a business consulting career.”
Tim, Senior Analyst

I came to the Avascent Summer Program with a background in government national security work, but little direct understanding of how to translate that knowledge into practical insights into how companies can effectively operate within the context of markets where government and business interact.

My summer at The Avascent Group allowed me to gain first-hand understanding of this dynamic and how to use my government background and graduate school work in a substantive, results-oriented manner.

I was directly responsible for significant portions of a major international market analysis that was delivered to the senior leadership of a Fortune 500 aerospace company.

The opportunity to be such an integral part of a project team as a Summer Analyst was exceptionally rewarding and led directly to my decision to become a full-time employee after graduation.
