Kelleigh Bilms’ Bio

Kelleigh provides strategic planning support for Avascent’s US Department of Defense and aerospace & defense industry clients.

She has directed dozens of engagements, including assessments focused on domestic and international growth strategy, technology roadmapping, industrial base/supply chain risk reduction, and international and defense/commercial partnering strategies.

Kelleigh’s market expertise spans a diverse set of high-priority DoD missions and technologies, including hypersonic/counter-hypersonic weapon systems, microelectronics, advanced comms and networking, command and control systems, next-generation electronic warfare, unmanned/attritable assets, and counter-UAS.

Kelleigh is interested in emerging technologies critical to national security and the intersection of private sector innovation and national security issues. She serves as Avascent’s representative to Business Executives for National Security.

Prior to joining Avascent, Kelleigh worked in international business development strategy for Cubic Defense Applications and supported security cooperation policy development in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy.

Education

Kelleigh holds an M.A. in US National Security Policy from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service Security Studies Program.
