Mike Brant’s Bio

Mike Brant is a senior engagement lead in Avascent’s London office, where he supports strategic and private equity clients’ growth strategy development. Since joining the firm in 2017, Mike has led over two dozen projects, including 10 strategic due-diligence efforts, for numerous US and international clients across the defence and commercial value chain. Mike has wide-ranging project experience including corporate and business unit organic growth strategy, global market analysis and scenario modelling, and inorganic strategy and transaction support.

Prior to joining Avascent, Mike accumulated 8 years of A&D experience as Strategic Development Manager for Cobham plc, where he provided internal strategy consultancy services as part of the corporate strategy team. In addition to supporting Cobham’s corporate strategic planning, Mike managed the strategic development activities of Cobham’s £650 million turnover Communications and Connectivity sector.

Education

Mike is a graduate of the University of St Andrews with a degree in Physics with Spanish, and holds an Executive MBA from London Business School, where he graduated with distinction.
