Michael Barber’s Bio
Michael Barber leads engagements focused on market, portfolio analysis and competitive analysis with an emphasis on data visualization and modeling. He has also supported engagements focused on advanced air mobility, wargaming, and price-to-win.
Prior to joining Avascent, he worked as an intern with the Transnational Threats Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), writing on militancy in the Middle East.
He earned a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from Colgate University in May 2014, where he wrote an honors thesis on modern deterrence, red lines, and the Syrian civil war.
