Avascent Expands Ottawa Staff to serve The Government of Canada and Canadian Industry

With this expansion and through its on-going recruiting programs at leading Canadian universities, Avascent is focused on assembling a rigorous analytical team in Canada capable of supporting clients across a range of complex topics where public and private interests intersect. Avascent’s presence in Ottawa will support both government and industry clients as they address pressing challenges arising from rapid change in the global technological and industrial landscape.
Avascent’s work in Canada began with supporting the Government of Canada’s decision-making under the Defence Procurement Strategy. Through a competitive process in 2015, Avascent was awarded a contract with the Government of Canada to provide highly specialized analytics capabilities in the defence and aerospace sectors. To support these efforts and serve its other clients in Canada, Avascent recruited and hired a team of highly qualified Canadian staff members who have been undergoing extensive training over the past six months at the firm’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
