New Team Members Bring Over Two Decades of Pricing Experience to Avascent

WASHINGTON, DC – Avascent, the leading global aerospace, defense and government consultancy, is pleased to announce that Brian Sweeney and Mark Cobb have joined its Business Capture and Price-to-Win (PTW) Practice, bringing extensive, real-world competitive pricing experience to the firm.

Brian Sweeney joins Avascent as Director, Price-to-Win Services, having formerly acted as Director of Pricing/Business Operations at PAE/Lockheed Martin, VP of Finance at Mission Essential Personnel and most recently a member of the IS&GS integration team at Leidos. Mark Cobb joins Avascent as a Price-to-Win Associate, having cut his teeth as a Pricing and then Financial Analyst at Northrop Grumman Corporation, and subsequently as a PTW Manager at BAE Systems and Leidos.

Avascent’s Business Capture and PTW Practice, led by Tim Stanos and James Thompson, supports business development and capture professionals by providing new customer insights, enabling better decision-making, challenging internal biases, and crafting winning strategies. The work is built on best-in-class analytical cost modeling and strategic pricing analysis using solid empirical data, industry-leading parametric models, and rigorous customer and competitive analysis.
