Avascent on the Record: What can the Defense Industry learn from Hacking4Defense?
Georgetown University’s Hacking4Defense program, which saw students finding solutions for real world DoD-posed problems using Silicon Valley’s Lean Startup method, recently came to a conclusion. Two mentors for the program, Avascent’s Joshua Pavluk and Jim Tinsley spoke with August Cole on key learnings from the course for the broader defense industry, and how students shortened product development cycles through iterative conversations with real customers and users.
