WASHINGTON, DC – On November 22, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) selected 10 affiliates from its nationwide network of over 575 chapters, to receive their Pinnacle Award for Exceptional HR Programs. The Northern Virginia Society for Human Resources Management (NOVA SHRM) was selected as a winner for its Special Interest Groups program. ABOUT THE SHRM PINNACLE AWARDS
For more than 20 years, the SHRM Pinnacle Awards have recognized the energy and efforts of SHRM’s network of affiliated chapters and state councils. Designed to honor SHRM affiliates for high-level contributions that enhance the development of effective human resource management, the awards recognize innovative activities, programs or initiatives that transcend normal affiliate operations. The annual recognition program honored outstanding initiatives by nine chapters and two state councils among 74 applications received. Winners were announced during SHRM’s annual Leadership Conference, which ended November 23rd.
