Georgetown University’s new Walsh School of Foreign Service Security Studies program, Hacking for Defense, brings together graduate students, corporate mentors, and the DoD and intelligence community to solve national security challenges using Lean Startup techniques. Avascent’s Joshua Pavluk and Jim Tinsley, who are mentors to some of the student groups, spoke with Chris Taylor, the Professor of the course, on what makes the course innovative and why the solutions frequently have real world applications.
You can also watch the classes live at 6:30pm on Mondays on Twitter @H4DGHSSP and on Facebook on the Hacking4DefenseGeorgetown page.
