Alice Bernardi’s Bio

In her role as Director of Finance, Alice leads the global Accounting, Finance, Compliance and Contracting functions of Avascent.

She oversees financial forecasting and reporting, internal controls, international tax and regulatory compliance, and contracting for all Avascent offices and a variety of key internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to joining Avascent, Alice Bernardi served in several management and advisory financial and operational positions in both the non-profit and for-profit industries.

She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Women in Defense (WID) and Women in International Security (WIIS).

Education

She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a M.A. in security studies from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a B.A. degree in International Relations / Strategic Studies from the University of Florence (Cesare Alfieri School of Political Science).
