Mimi Shieh’s Bio

Mimi leads a broad range of initiatives across all areas of HR including talent acquisition & management, training & development, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement & relations, using a systems-based approach and collaborating with a broad group of employee stakeholders.

Immediately prior to Avascent, Ms. Shieh helped execute the firm’s transition in a management buyout from DFI International. In her earlier roles, she was awarded Top Producer in sales and served as an employment manager and recruiter in both university and corporate environments.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Society for Human Resource Management (NOVA SHRM) chapter.

Education

She received her Master’s in Organizational Management from The George Washington University, and her undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
