Alessandra Jenkins’ Bio
Alessandra Jenkins advises public and private sector clients. An expert in market expansion, industrial investment, and procurement strategy development, she has supported or led over 50 Avascent engagements spanning defence platforms and systems, unmanned systems, and emerging technologies inclusive of advanced computing and clean technologies.
Alessandra is particularly passionate about helping public sector executives make sound evidence-based decisions in challenging market and technology areas.
Prior to joining Avascent, Alessandra gained experience in policy analysis at The Wilson Center’s Canada Institute. She also has sales and business development experience through her work at a boutique software and digital advertising firm in Canada.
Alessandra received her B.A. Honours in global development studies from Queen’s University and her Master of Global Affairs from University of Toronto. Her research specialization was in innovation policy, intellectual property rights, and international trade.
