Andrew Penn provides strategic guidance to commercial satellite operators, service providers, OEMs, national space agencies, and transactional clients.
A leader within Avascent’s space and satellite communications practice, he has supported over 80 engagements ranging from market growth/entry strategies and M&A transactions, to adjacent market studies and joint venture business case analyses.
Andrew is also a frequently sought-after contributor in leading space and SATCOM industry press for his market commentary and analysis, having contributed perspectives and Op-editorials in Via Satellite, Avionics Today, and The Connected Aircraft link. He also moderated panels at the annual Satellite show in Washington DC and The Connected Aircraft Summit.
Prior to joining Avascent, Andrew worked in the energy practice at NERA Economic Consulting.
Education
Andrew holds a BA from Northwestern University in Economics and Mathematics and completed the certificate program in Financial Economics from the Kellogg School of Management.
