Kyle Van Hooren’s Bio

Kyle Van Hooren is based in Avascent’s Ottawa office where he specializes in providing strategic recommendations to decision-makers in government and industry on advanced technology markets including Space, Quantum, and AI/Cyber.

Kyle has supported 65+ engagements with the firm including market growth/entry, M&A transactions, adjacent market studies, competitive analyses, and technology business case analysis and product commercialization.

Prior to joining Avascent, Kyle worked at the MaRS Solutions Lab as an Associate tackling complex challenges with new technologies at the intersection of business, policy, and government, for example, workforce automation and the sharing economy.

Education

Kyle has a B.A. in History & English from the University of Western Ontario, and he completed his Master of Global Affairs (MGA) specializing in Global Capital Markets from the Munk School at the University of Toronto.
