Lars Miethke’s Bio

Lars Miethke is the Head of Avascent’s Berlin Office, where he supports strategic and private equity clients pursuing organic and inorganic growth strategies in Europe.

Since joining the firm in 2013, Lars has supported clients across a variety of aerospace, defense, government services, and civil/commercial markets. During his tenure at Avascent he has worked out of the firm’s Washington DC, Paris, & London offices prior to opening Avascent’s office in Germany. Lars has extensive experience advising clients on international growth strategies, M&A strategy, and due diligence projects for private and public companies.

Education

Lars holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research focused on German defence cooperation initiatives and their impact on the sovereign powers of government. Prior to his research studies, Lars graduated with a Master’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and completed a B.Sc. in Business Administration at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
