Tim Stanos is a Managing Director at Avascent where he advises clients on issues pertaining to organic and inorganic growth strategy, technology and resource investment, business process improvement, and capture support. In his nearly 20 years at Avascent, Tim has specialized in a range of management consulting services across the spectrum of the defense and aerospace industry. In particular, Tim has assisted both established and emerging players through analyses of customer, competitor, and market trends; he has supported clients in crafting successful adjacent market entry strategies; and he has helped clients win numerous contracts through targeted cost estimates and Price-to-Win evaluations.
In his capacity as Co-Lead of Avascent’s Capture Support/PTW practice area, Tim has supported sub-system suppliers, IT services providers, platform OEMs, mid- and large-tier systems integrators, and engineering services firms. He has managed and directed myriad Design-to-Cost, Should-Cost, Price-to-Win, and strategic affordability engagements in support of his clients’ new business and keep-sold capture activities associated with major ground-, air-, sea-, and space-based platforms, expeditionary support equipment, unmanned systems, tactical ISR, and numerous other technologies and markets.
Tim holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he graduated with honors.
