Paul Martin’s Bio
Paul Martin is a director at Avascent, where he assists client navigation of US and international government-driven markets. Paul leads client engagements focused on emerging market opportunities, evaluating potential M&A targets, Price-To-Win (PTW) analyses and due diligences.
Paul has also led global expansion assignments for international defense and government contractors, with a focus on clients in US and Asia Pacific. Paul’s work has included partnership and M&A strategies for international companies to address the US defense market.
Paul has also led several significant land and defense systems assignments both for US and international opportunities as part of Avascent’s land systems practice. He was worked with a wide range of land and defense systems stakeholders including prime contractors, subcontractors, and component suppliers, including significant work with energy providers to the US military market.
Prior to joining Avascent, Paul supported the Chertoff Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice through business analysis and financial modeling for cybersecurity companies. He also worked with the Department of Commerce on its export assistance initiatives for small businesses.
Paul received an M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
